The roaring twenties were the playground of the original flappers. The 1920s flapper girl was modern, thrilling, breaking rules, feeling free and celebrating life.

The twenties flapper was throwing off her chains (corsets), cutting herself loose (chopping off her hair) and letting go (on the dancefloor and at the bar)…

The icon of the era, the true original American flapper was the one and only Zelda Fitzgerald – who was the inspiration for many of Scott Fritzgerald’s female characters. She led the mob and they followed…her impeccable style.
